Here at Brickhouse Goldens we are breeding our two young Golden Retrievers to make some beautiful healthy family and sport golden retrievers.
We aren't raising puppies, we are nurturing your future family member.

Nova and Finn are our female dogs, and the Stud we use (whose name is also Finn) lives in Minneapolis, and they would love to meet you. Actually, all Golden Retrievers would love to meet everyone, but these guys are pretty exceptional dogs. They are all full AKC registered.

We are very concerned about creating healthy, disease free long life dogs for families. Things like hip dysplasia, cardiac disease, and eye issues are things we have gone to lengths to breed out of our dogs. All have had their hips certified as good/excellent by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (need to be 2 years old)), have vet checked cardiac health and yearly eye exams. We test their DNA through the AKC for concerning markers, and we raise the pups in our house with us, so they experience home living from the very start.
Murphy is the big square head stud who everyone falls in love with as soon as they meet him. Big and strong, he is truly the leader of the pack. A true retriever in every sense, he is as affectionate and he is intense. He has a deep thunderous bark to bring fear to the delivery guys (until they meet him as he is a big push over) Mr handsome. If his puppies share his dashing good looks and nature, there will be some good golden retriever puppies making families happy around the twin cities.
Michael and I have had other Golden's in the past and have had good success making family and hunting dogs for many families and friends. These are our third generation of dogs we are breeding, and we think they are the best candidates to date.
