Murphy is like a 90lb puppy. He still wants to be a lap dog. He is full of energy and is the strongest, most athletic dog we have ever had. He does have some championship show dog heritage (great grandfather?), but his personality is what shines above his good looks. Like all Goldens, he just wants to do stuff with you. Whether or not that involves a ball, a lake, a ride in the truck, or just sitting on your feet at the couch.
